Hands up if you love your coffee in the morning???!!


I do love a good cup of coffee to get me going and if you don’t overdo it on the daily basis you can enjoy all the benefits of caffeine too!

Coffee made from coffee beans is a natural product jam packed with antioxidants.

I personally notice a huge difference in my strength training when I have a solid hit of coffee right before going in to train. 

Caffeine stimulates the central nervous system to reduce fatigue and drowsiness. It may also benefit exercise performance; research has shown that it can improve endurance and increase muscular strength.

Further to that Caffeine can also improve your mental performance as well as physical.

Studies have shown that, depending on level of intake, caffeine can help to improve mental performance, especially on alertness, attention and concentration. … Some studies have shown that caffeine may enhance memory performance, particularly when tedious, repetitive tasks are involved.

A lot of pre-workouts have large amounts of caffeine in them plus a few other ingredients and flavourings. 

Caffeine will also increase your body temperature which increases thermogenesis.

The thing is if you like a cup of coffee just have a black coffee or an espresso as a pre-workout rather than worrying about expensive pre -workouts which may or may not have banned substances in them?? 

On a side note though as much as caffeine helps a lot of people function effectively it isn’t great for people with anxiety problems or insomnia.

If you aren’t one of those people however coffee black is a great lowcalorie beverage you can include in your daily intake and enjoy a more productive day.
